AJMER SHARIF DARGAH

The Dargah has made a significant contribution to spreading the ethical and spiritual values of Islam among the masses. According to belief, all prayers made with a pure heart at the Ajmer Dargah are destined to be fulfilled. Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a revered Sufi shrine, is a must-visit on any Rajasthan trip package for spiritual seekers.

BULAND DARWAJA

One of the exceptional examples of Islamic design, this semi-octagonal Darwaza towers, displaying the glory of Akbar’s reign and it is one of the historical places in Ajmer. This tall structure was constructed to celebrate the triumph of Akbar’s victory over Khandesh and Ahmednagar in 1576. At a height of about 176 feet, this enormous gateway is the southern entry to the J Dargah Sharif.

GREENLAND WATER PARK

PRITHVIRAJ SMARAK

The Prithviraj Smarak is a memorial to Prithviraj Chauhan, the great hero of the Rajput Chauhan dynasty. Located on the Taragarh Road in Ajmer, the memorial has a statue of the king in black stone, mounted on a horse. Prithviraj Chauhan has been shown with a bow and arrow in his hand. Prithvi Raj Chauhan (originally Prithvi Raj III) was the last ruler in the lineage of Chauhans. He was enthroned to rule the twin capitals of Delhi and Ajmer in the 12th century.

SAI BABA TEMPLE

Sprawling across 2 acres, Ajmer’s Sai Baba Temple is a fairly new tourist spot in this region. The stunning temple is built entirely out of marble, and is flocked by devotees throughout the week. Pujas are conducted every Thursday and Saturday, making them the busiest and most crowded days in the temple. The gorgeous temple also offers shelter to all Sai Baba devotees looking for refuge there.

DAULAT BAGH GARDEN

Nestled on the banks of the majestic Ana Sagar Lake, Daulat Bagh is a charming little garden dating back to the Mughal eras. One of the best historical places in Ajmer, the Garden was constructed by the Emperor Shiv Dan in 1868. Open green spaces dotted with naturally grown trees imbue a tranquil charm to the place. The adjacent Baradari marble pavilions constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan.
